METHOD OF EVALUATING CORRESPONDENCE OF LENGTH OF RIGHT INTRATHORACIC ARTERY AS CONDUIT "IN DITU" FOR MAMMAROCORONARY BYPASS SURGERY OF RIGHT CORONARY ARTERY IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2396914 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology and can be used for evaluation of length of right intrathoracic artery as conduit "in situ" for mammarocoronary bypass surgery of right coronary artery in patients with ischemic heart disease. For this purpose after performed in accordance with standard methodology median sternotomy and pericardotomy, determined are 6-th intercostal space and point corresponding to the middle of heart sharp edge, which corresponds to free edge of right ventricle from atrioventricular groove to heart apex. After that from the 6-th intercostal space perpendicular to longitudinal axis of sternum crossing sharp edge of heart is drawn. If perpendicular from the 6-th intercostal space crosses sharp heart edge 1.5-2 cm more distally than median point, it is possible to perform mammarocoronary bypass surgery of medial and distal parts of right coronary artery including posterior descending branch using right intrathoracic artery "in situ" as conduit. If said perpendicular crosses sharp heart edge more proximally than its median point, application of right intrathoracic artery "in situ" for bypass surgery of medial and distal segments of right coronary artery is impossible.

EFFECT: method allows to evaluate accurately possibility of application of right intrathoracic artery "in situ" for bypass surgery of right coronary artery, and to choose optimal surgical tactics at initial stages of operation.
