METHOD FOR INTRAOPERATIONAL DIAGNOSTICS FOR PASSABILITY OF MAMMAROCORONARY AND AORTOCORONARY SHUNTS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: one should perform an ultrasound duplex scanning of mammaro- and aortocoronary shunts by applying linear ultrasound transmitter at 7-10 MHz frequency located into latex container filled with a sound-conducting medium. One should determine the ratio of peak systolic to peak diastolic rate of circulation - systolo-diastolic index (SDI). At SDI values being equal to 1.478 and below one should diagnose normal passability of shunt, at values ranged 1.479-1.545 - 25%-stenosis, at 1.546-2.23 - 50%-stenosis, at 2.24-3.005 - 75%-stenosis, at 3.006-3.936 - subtotal stenosis and at 3.937 and higher - occlusion should be detected.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of intraoperational diagnostics.
