FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: sternotomy is performed. The right internal thoracic artery is exposed. A heart-lung machine is connected and cardioplegia is performed. Immediately after the cardioplegia a transverse aortotomy at the level of the sinotubular crest is performed. The pulmonary artery trunk is passed around in a circular way and withdrawn on a holder. After that, a stem of the left coronary artery is brought into the wound by means of holders. Its longitudinal arteriotomy is performed. After that an end-to-side anastomosis is formed between the internal thoracic artery and the stem of the left coronary artery.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the patients' life expectancy due to the application of only autoarterial graft, reduce the risk of developing bleedings, associated with an intake of anti-aggregants.
