FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metal powders production to create composite materials, including materials with high heat conductivity and high electric resistance. Aluminium wire is supplied into high-frequency field of cross-current inductor. Wire is heated up to its melt temperature, evaporated, condensed to produce particles of aluminium in laminar flow of inertial gas. Particles of aluminium are oxidised with mixture of inertial gas with oxygen and caught by filter. At the same time oxygen is added to inertial gas in area determined by required thickness of oxide coating.
EFFECT: invention provides for required thickness of coating.
