FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to airfield navigation hardware and is intended for spatial orientation. Proposed system comprises far and near locator beacon, glide-path and course laser radiators, N pairs of optical radiators distributed between course laser radiator and near locator beacon. Radiators of every pair are arranged symmetrically with runway axis, while their optical axes are located in plane perpendicular to course laser beam to intersect at point on its axis. Optical radiators in every pair are intended for the space scanning, amplitude modulation of radiation power and variation of spectral composition (colour). Spatial and optical parametres of radiators are controlled to preset algorithm with the help op particular controller and control unit.
EFFECT: higher reliability, longer range of pilot spatial orientation by glide-path, higher efficiency and safety.
