FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to optical navigation systems incorporating lasers and optical devices. Invention is intended for supporting accurate landing on low-sized strips of heliports, aircraft carriers and drilling platform. Landing system comprises two laser radiators arranged nearby each other at strip axis continuation, behind its end face (threshold), two optical devices located on strip sides to turn laser beams so that these are set at glide path plane. Position of laser radiators and optical devices and direction of beams generated by said devices allow the pilot to determine deviation of current landing approach path relative to preset heading and glide path. Dynamically varying beam projection image allows the pilot to respond to aircraft displacement and to control aircraft heading at preset path unless landing termination.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of control and flight safety.
