FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to dome of optical system. Dome of optical system comprises two-wing split jacket, device for opening-closing of jacket wings, drive and tower. Each wing of jacket comprises at least three sections: lower of which is arranged fixedly on support base, middle one is slave and upper one is master, kinematically connected to device for opening-closing of jacket wings. When jacket is fully opened, sections take positions one behind another, embracing each other from the outside, and when it is fully closed, tight jacket is formed with seals of joints between sections. Support foundation of dome is arranged with the possibility of rotation relative to vertical axis and has common drive with device for opening-closing of wings.
EFFECT: simplification of dome design.
