DEVICE FOR SHELTERING PRIMARILY OF OPTICAL SYSTEMS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2137890 C1

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this particularly relates to sheltering of telescope. Device has splittable shroud which is made up of separate sections adapted for displacement on base installed on foundation. Base can be made as support for sheltered structure. Shroud sections are interconnected to create splitting line located in vertical plane. Each section of shroud is made of components which are connected to each other to form horizontal splitting line, and they can be fixed relative to each other. Lower part of shroud section partially overlaps upper part of shroud section. Upper part of shroud section is adapted for vertical displacement relative to corresponding lower part of shroud section and for location in it when shroud is in open position. Upper part of shroud sections is connected with base with creation of doubled dual-crank mechanism in which common links are represented by base and upper part of shroud sections. Cranks of dual-crank mechanism are arranged so as to allow for location between them of sheltered structure when shroud is in closed position. Each doubled dual-crank mechanism is connected with actuator for opening and closing of shroud and with mechanism for equalizing of shroud sections which are installed on base. For resting of shroud on foundation, provided are supporting members made in the form of rollers fastened on lower part of each shroud section. Rollers are adapted for rolling on supporting surface of foundation when upper part of shroud section moves relative to corresponding lower part of shroud section. Aforesaid embodiment of device allows for larger degree of opening of optical system. Device is technological simple to manufacture. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
