FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises housing (10a) and crankcase oil pan (20) comprising pair of rack sections (21a, 21b) spaced apart below engine housing (10a) and attached thereto; pair of opposed sidewalls (22a, 22b) made integral with said rack sections (21a, 21b) and cylindrical section (23) surrounding drive shaft (19L, 19R), passing through crankcase oil pan (20) and integrated with said pair of sidewalls (22a, 22b) nearby pair of rack sections (21a, 21b) of crankcase oil pan. There is bulged section on top half (23c) of cylindrical section (23) above drive shaft (19L, 19R) at least nearby one axial end (23a, 23b). Said bulged section is directed upward and reaches top surface of crankcase oil pan rack section (21a, 21b).
EFFECT: reduced oil pan vibration, and, hence, noise.
