SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation of containers. Transporting device for lifting/lowering of containers comprises support structure supporting four gripping lifting/lowering parts, X-direction drive means installed on it, by means of which four gripping lifting/lowering parts approach each other and are spaced from each other synchronously and symmetrically relative to Y-direction central line (YL) of two lines, and Y-direction drive means, by means of which four gripping ascending/descending parts approach each other and move away from each other in synchronism and symmetry relative to central line (XL) located in X-direction.

EFFECT: enabling increase and compression of rectangular parallelogram surrounded by four gripping rising/falling parts without changing central position (P) and orientation of rectangular parallelogram.
