SUBSTANCE: disposable pull-on diaper 10 includes absorbent core 23. Absorbent core 23 includes central absorbent portion 23c and pair of side absorbent portions 23d and has an opening as a flexural hinge between central absorbent portion 23c and each side absorbent portion 23d. Absorbent core 23 is covered with top sheet 21. Extension 21E of top sheet 21 extending to non-skin-facing-side of absorbent core 23 is joined to element 42, adjacent to outer-coating-facing-side of extension side 21E in joint 43, which is located in the transverse direction outside the bending part. Absorbent core 23 has an elastic element 25' located along its both lateral edges so that each lateral absorbent portion 23d must be bent between elastic element 25' and joint 43.

EFFECT: disposable diaper in the form of underwear is disclosed.
