FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: moisture separator/reheater comprises vertical enclosure with lower moisture separator. Moisture separator is made in the form of central and peripheral circular rows of separation blocks with moist steam delivery chamber between them. In peripheral circular row of separation blocks there is a hatch located opposite the inlet manifold. Moist steam delivery chamber is connected with inlet manifold via bypass tube with its end fixed in a hatch of separation blocks peripheral circular row. Such construction of moisture separator/reheater provides rectilinear moist steam flow on the area between inlet manifold and delivery chamber with relatively low water resistance. Moist steam swiveling chamber is excluded.
EFFECT: uniformity of moist steam distribution among separation blocks is provided, it decreases specific quantity of metal of moisture separator-reheater.
