FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: parametres of security zones are calculated during flight. Obstacles which fall in the said zones are detected from the calculated zone parametres and the obtained data on height and coordinates of the obstacles. The extreme obstacle is picked up from among the said obstacles and vertical inclination parametres of the obstacle are calculated, as well as vertical speed or ground speed, which are displayed on corresponding scales on a display screen. An image is formed on the cockpit display, which enables the pilot to quickly find bearings and adequately assess the situation.
EFFECT: efficient flight with any ground speed on all flight modes, including hovering, taking into account dynamic characteristics and specific features of rotary-wing machines.
