FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: fuel-handling machine of nuclear reactor consists of working bar vertically mounted on carriage and of mechanism of blasting. An executive device of the blasting mechanism interacts with the working bar. The executive device is made in form of electro-mechanical jacks with a rigid kinematic link. The jacks are mounted on the carriage, are equally spaced from the working bar and in the vertical plane with it. For blasting fuel assemblies (FA) there is turned on a drive connecting the electro-mechanic jacks with the rigid kinematic link; by interacting with the working bar there is created additional vertical "pushing" force moving the working bar together with FA to the moment of release of a FA tail from a support cartridge of a reactor shaft. Also working screws of the jacks move synchronous avoiding skew and wedging in the working bar.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of fuel handling machine of nuclear reactor.
