FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the device for installation and extraction the lengthy equipment from nuclear reactors with the liquid metal heat carrier, in particular with sodium one. The pick-and-place device (PPD) for installation and extraction from nuclear reactor of lengthy equipment includes the bridge, the cart, the basket, the two-channel container with biological protection, the rack with processing equipment, the precision location systems, the reducer with the container rotation drive, the rotary plate, the mobile protection, the protective ring with aligning elements, adapting pipes and extending rods. The adapting pipes which are tightly installed on rotary plugs of the reactor are fitted with grip control units and the mobile protection lifting device in the form of screw-nut mechanisms. The two-channel container is fitted with the gate device and fitted with the ball grips moved by means of "pushing" chains.
EFFECT: expansion of arsenal of pick-and-place devices for lengthy equipment.
