SUBSTANCE: portable electronic device contains: the first casing; the guide elements mounted on the first casing so that to enable the guide element turning round the turning axis and is equipped with a shift guide; a locking element mounted between the first casing and the guide element, the locking element providing for interconnection of relative travel of the first casing and the guide element; the second casing designed so that to enable shift and mounted on the shift guide; a connective device mounted between the glide element and the second casing, one side thereof connected to the locking element, that folds and unfolds at the said connective device turn via the locking element which enables the second casing shift at the guide element turn so that to change the position of the second casing relative to the guide element.

EFFECT: fabrication of a casing for a portable electronic device opened and closed by way of shift and turn with its second part capable of shift turning on the casing first part at the casing second part opening by way of turning.
