FIELD: mobile phones.
SUBSTANCE: the collapsible mechanism is meant for opening and closing parts of "slider" type cell phone and contains a guiding element and a sliding element, which interact with each other. In the space between the main components, two torsion springs are positioned with two spring whiskers each. First spring whiskers are fastened, respectively, near the left and near the right sides of guiding element, and second spring whiskers are fastened, respectively, in the right and in the left halves of the sliding element. Originally the springs are in open state. When a force is applied to the sliding or to the guiding element, the springs are compressed at a certain angle, and then again decompressed under effect of resilient forces. The distance between the ends of spring whiskers is greater than at least half the width of the sliding element, ensuring the capacity for torsion springs to maximally utilize the whole width of guiding element during movement, and the capacity for sliding element to move relatively to corresponding part down to its lowest and highest points, including maximal movement distance of sliding element and allowing one part of the phone to slide relatively to the other with short term initial press on the sliding part by a user, increasing the comfort of phone usage.
EFFECT: increased comfort of operation.
