FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and specifically for fermentation of kvass, mead, beer and other fermentation products in volumes of up to 20 decalitres. The fermenter has a fermentation container 1 with a lid and a bottom, in the top part which there is a filler neck 2 which closes the lid. On the lateral surface of the fermentation container 1 there are two taps 4 and 5, one over the other at a distance of not less than 15 cm with horizontal shift relative each other. The lower tap 4 is fitted in the immediate proximity to the bottom of the container and is meant for discharging settled yeast. The upper tap 5 is meant for discharging the ready drink. In order to maintain fermentation temperature in the fermentation container within limits in accordance with the technological process, an electric heater 6 is placed around the fermentation container. Temperature condition of the electric heater is maintained through a control unit 8 and an electric power supply.
EFFECT: simple design and smaller size of the fermenter.
