SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to composition of iron. Iron contains elements at the following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.4-4.0; silicon 1.5-2.0; manganese 0.8-1.2; copper 0.1-0.2; tin 0.1-0.15; calcium 0.01-0.02; aluminium 0.3-0.4; nitrogen 0.001-0.0014; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: increased hardness of iron.
