SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.5; silicon 1.1-1.7; manganese 0.5-1.0; phosphorus 0.16-0.2; aluminium 0.1-0.15; calcium 0.01-0.015; boron 0.01-0.02; copper 0.8-1.2; tin 0.001-0.0015; vanadium 0.4-0.6; cerium 0.1-0.15; indium 0.01-0.015; selenium 0.001-0.0015; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance of iron.
