FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to the field of erecting structures with application of metal groove, and more specifically - to design of locks used to join tongue-and-groove elements. In lock for connection of tongue-and-groove elements, including race and connecting cam brought into cavity of race, race is arranged from metal thick-walled pipe with longitudinal slot along generatrix, where strip is entered, which bears cam made of square or rectangular solid or hollow rolled section with provision of cam adjacency to inner wall of metal thick-walled pipe, at least with two faces, at the same time according metal strips are welded both to cam and race along longitudinal axis for the whole length of lock, besides ratio of strip b thickness to width of slot B is within the range from 0.65 to 0.9, and ratio of size of cam A side perpendicular to axis of welded strip, to width of slot B is in within the range from 1.7 to 2.6. At the same time in cross section it has angular shape formed by strip bent at the angle α, equal to 60-180 degrees along radius, which is not less than strip thickness.

EFFECT: increased strength, bearing capacity and reliability of lock, and also increased manufacturability in production together with reduction of its cost.
