JOINT FOR GROOVED MEMBERS CONNECTION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: building erection with the use of steel grooved members, particularly joints of welded grooved members.

SUBSTANCE: joint includes casing formed by angle member and connection cam inserted in casing. Edge of one angle member flange is welded to grooved member at acute angle such that angle member is inclined towards free edge of console. Connection cam is welded to another grooved member. Band is welded to opposite edge of grooved member and opposite to welded angle member flange edge at an angle close to right angle to edge of grooved member. Band width is not less than doubled thickness of angle member flange. Connection cam of round profile is welded to edge of another grooved member. Connection cam axis is offset relative central plane of grooved member edge.

EFFECT: provision of free angular deformation; possibility of dimension-type unification of grooved members having above joint; possibility of application in curved cutoff walls having different curvature without joint structure change, increased manufacturability; reduced labor consumption of connection cam production.
