FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to designs of locks for welded sheet piles. For increasing load-bearing capacity of sheet-pile walls, lock has holder formed by angular profile member welded to sheet-pile component by edge of one of shoulders with creation of cantilever, and connecting cam inserted into holder space and welded to another sheet-pile component. Angular profile member is welded to surface of sheet-pile component at acute angle with incline towards free edge of cantilever, thus creating neck for entry into holder. Connecting cam of another sheet-pile component is located at distance from its edge, thus forming cantilever. Surface of cantilever opposite to cam is adjoining in holder to surface of cantilever of sheet-pile component to which angular profile member is welded. Parameters of lock design components are determined by respective relations. EFFECT: high efficiency. 4 dwg
