FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to earth movers, namely to bucket-free chain trenchers intended mostly for tunneling of trenches in frozen and strong ground. Trencher comprises support frame, mechanism of support frame movement, working equipment, conveyor, power set of drive of all trencher mechanisms. Platform is fixed on support frame of trencher. Platform may move vertically along guides. Platform holds power set of drive of all trencher mechanisms, control cabin and mechanism of working equipment lifting and lowering. Working equipment consists of central actuator and two chain multi-cutter actuators installed on both sides of central actuator. Slave sprockets of actuators are arranged on a single shaft. Central actuator is arranged in the form of plate cutting transporting device with enveloping infinite chain, has side boards and is equipped with support rollers on both sides of trench. Lower slave sprocket of central actuator in process of machine running is located in front of its upper master sprocket. Multi-cutter actuators and central actuator are connected in a hinged manner with the help of two intermediate frames. Intermediate frames are connected to each other and hingedly, as well as through hydraulic cylinder. Such joint provides for fixed angular rotation of frames relative to each other. Reducer of drive of chain multi-cutter actuators is installed on platform. Reducer of drive of central actuator is installed on its frame. A conveyor is fixed on central actuator with the possibility of displacement along it and with the possibility of rotation in vertical plane.

EFFECT: reduced traction forces, dimensions and weight, increased efficiency and reliability, expanded functionality of trencher.
