FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a double-channel pyrometre which realises the universal double spectral ratio method. To realise the said method, the double-channel pyrometre is fitted with a pulse generator which is connected to leads of each photodetector. The generator serves for heating the photodetectors. When the photodetectors are heated, sensitivity falls and the spectral characteristic maximum shifts.
EFFECT: higher measurement accuracy due to use of four emission subbands of an object.
