FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectrozonal television and a method of generating signals of different spectral television images. Method includes recording of input radiant (light) flow F(λ) reflected or emitted from the objects of the observed space and the projection of the radiant (light) flow using the lens on the working surface of the two matrix photodetectors. To this end, the input radiant (light) stream at the output of the lens is split into two identical radiant (light) streams F(λ), passing them through two optical filters, converting radiant fluxes using first and second matrix photodetectors, in which spectral characteristic of input optical link of spectrozonal TV camera satisfies certain conditions, then two integral signals of television images Uc1(t) and Uc2(t). Based on these signals, by solving systems of p linear equations with two unknowns, as well as using subtraction of received signals of different-spectrum television images between each other for neighboring registration areas, generating signals of more "narrow" areas of detecting a radiant flux Δλ2, Δλ3, …, Δλm inside wide spectral section with wave length from λ1 up to λn. Obtained signals are then used for visual or automatic analysis of video information.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of signal / noise ratio and reduction of number of formed integral image signals to their minimum number (two) with possibility of generating m signals of different-spectral TV images.
