FIELD: measuring techniques.

SUBSTANCE: technique is based on using at least two sequential operation cycles, where the output signal of the pyrometer, which is proportional to the absolute thermal radiation of the test object, is determined in each of the cycles. In each of the n-cycles an electrical signal of the engineered value for each of the n-cycles is applied to the output of the photodetector. This signal changes the temperature and sensitivity of the photodetector, and determines the temperature of the object for n-values of the output signal of the pyrometer from each of the n-cycles.

EFFECT: possibility of non-contact temperature measurement.
