SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device with car air cushion. Proposed device comprises air cushion (G) inflated for passenger protection, container (M) with outlet and flexible protective cover 1 that closes air cushion pack in outlet zone. Air cushion (G) as-packed is arranged in container (M). In inflation, air cushion gets out through container outlet to het expanded. Protective cover 1 comprises two flexible flat elements 11, 12 secured on container (M). Said flat elements are jointed together by one tearing line 10 to envelope air cushion during first step of its expansion. Flexible guide layer 2 rigidly jointed to the first of protective elements 11, 12 is arranged between protective cover 1 and air cushion (G). First flat protective element 11, with air cushion (G) being inflated, forms combined layer 2, 11 that envelopes it together with guide layer 2. The latter is rigidly jointed to the first flat protective element 11 and, in air cushion inflation, features larger expansion than flat protective element 11.

EFFECT: perfected device thanks to directed opening and expansion.
