FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of testing equipment on mechanical effects is realised in a mixed mode. First resonance frequency is determined for the equipment in the entire standardised frequency range, broad-band random vibration is replaced by its equivalent harmonic vibration, impact acceleration spectra are obtained for all vibration and impact loads, and maximum values of the impact acceleration spectrum in the entire frequency range for all types of loading is obtained. After that tests are carried out using impact acceleration spectra with frequency times lower than the first natural frequency of the equipment, where the number of impacts is determined using formulas:
where: N is number of impacts for formation of test modes with maximum values of the impact acceleration spectrum; L is number of standardised impacts; Ni is number of impacts for formation of test modes with maximum value of the impact acceleration in the i-th frequency range; M is number of cycles for vibration test modes with load levels higher than amplitude of linear loads; ωi is angular frequency in the i-th frequency range; g is gravitational acceleration; ki(ωi, g) is minimum coefficient of the ratio of impact acceleration spectra in the i-th frequency range; α is forcing coefficient for impact acceleration spectra; SRSv(ω, g) are impact acceleration spectra obtained for vibration loads, SRSmax(ω, g) are maximum values of the impact acceleration spectrum.
EFFECT: simple testing procedure and cutting on testing time.
