FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely to plant growing. The method includes cutting ribs and filling sprouting with ground. At the same time ribs are cut in fields in spring, with full ripeness of the soil, with the width of 30 cm and 15 cm deep for planting vernalised potato tubers with local mulching compost after planting. When sprouting height becomes of 6-8 cm they are covered with ground for obtaining more stolons from the axils of leaves, while loosening in rows at 3-5 cm. While the secondary sprouting appear with height of 5-7 cm, while covering sprouting with ground wetted with organic solution sand is brought using harvester, at that part of the excavated soil from ribs and a part of dry layer of ground from the rows are used. In the future, growth and development of foliage without filling sprouting is conceded for all summer, but weeds and formation of a crust on the fields are not allowed.
EFFECT: invention enables to increase yield of potatoes in open ground.
