FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to methods for destruction of unwanted vegetation. The method includes the restoration of the landscape by forming a vegetable layer of sod-seeding of grasses. In early spring after emergence of seedlings the affected area is distinguished and parcels are formed taking into account the relief. The protective carpet of a solid flexible waterproof material is laid out on the surface area formed, with density ensuring penetration of roots of swarding grasses, for example made of geosynthetic material with density of 100 g/m2. The carpet is backfilled with clean soil with a minimum height of 5 cm. On the section of the slope before backfilling the carpet geogrids are installed to protect soil from erosion. Then seeding of swarding grasses is carried out dominant in the area with a higher rate of seeding 10-30 kg/ha with simultaneous application of mineral fertilisers taken in an efficient quantity.
EFFECT: invention enables to prevent effectively the spread of giant hogweed and rapidly restore the vegetation close to the zone.
