SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for formation of lip on inner side of container wall and to container with according lip. Device (1) for formation of lip (2) on inner side (3) of container wall (4) comprises narrowing puncheon (5) and support ring (6) open on top, arranged with the possibility of displacement relative to each other between initial and deforming position. Narrowing puncheon has at least at some sections stop groove (9) passing along external diametre, and support ring has at least at some sections ledge (10), which limits slot and passes along its inner perimetre. As specified ledge and groove interact in deforming position, lip may be formed, besides in deforming position width of gap between stop groove and ledge that limits slot at edge section of specified perimetre exceeds width of gap between other sections passing along perimetre.

EFFECT: improved device for formation of lip, with account of various thickness of inner container wall, simple design of device and possibility to quickly process large amount.
