FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for bringing coal beds to non-emission hazardous condition prior to the beginning of mining work. When implementing the method from mine working located near emission hazardous zone there drilled are relief wells with diametre of one metre or more in the direction of the emission hazardous zone to be unloaded with cutoff of drilling process at the distance of not less than five metres from the bed along the normal in order to install the gate in the well mouth; after that the drilling process of relief well is continued by crossing the coal bed throughout its height. Then from the above mine working along the perimetre of the border of emission hazardous zone there drilled is series of additional wells with diametre of 0.15-0.30 m around relief well. Negative pressure is created inside relief well together with which there performed is mechanical action through additional wells on the bed in hydro-pulse mode; as a result, coal is destructed and carried over to relief well.
EFFECT: avoiding the possibility of abrupt coal and gas burst during mining works on emission hazardous bed.
