FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to physiotherapy, balneology. The method involves taking radon baths of radon concentration 10-20 nCu/l (0.37-0.75 kBq/l). Bath water temperature is 37°C, procedure length is 12-15 minutes, for the therapeutic course of 10 procedures. Said radon baths are taken in regimen 2 baths and a rest day. The radon baths are combined with sulphide silt mud applications on the knee joints. Mud temperature is 30-32°C, exposition is 10-15 minutes. The procedures are performed every second day. The therapeutic course is 6-7 procedures.
EFFECT: method improves clinical effectiveness in the patients with advanced recurrent gonarthritis.
