METHOD FOR MECHANICAL ACTIVATION AND GRINDING OF MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B02C19/18

Abstract RU 2400303 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for mechanical activation and grinding of materials and may be used in construction and other industries, for instance in mining, food, medical, chemical and other industries, where it is required to produce high-quality products, for instance finely dispersed multi-component mixtures of various minerals, polymers and powders. Method for mechanical activation and grinding of materials is characterised by the fact that initial mineral raw materials are previously dried down to moisture of 1-5% and supplied to sizer for dressing and cleaning from undesirable additives, then thus produced mineral raw materials are sent via feed bin into mixer, where dry powdery polymer additive is also charged simultaneously with mineral raw materials, and there all raw materials are brought to homogeneous mass, afterwards from the mixer homogenous mass is charged into activator mill with the help of, for instance auger feeder. Prior to charging of raw materials into mill, cold plasma is sent under pressure in it from cold plasma generator in the form of ionised gas or air, and grinding process is carried out until finished product is obtained. Finished product from mill along products pipe line is sent into sizer or directly into hopper-accumulator. In process of ground mass movement along products pipe line from mill to sizer, ionised component is additionally supplied onto products pipe line.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and production of high-quality ground product.
