FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for substantial rise of operational resistance of hard-alloyed draw dies designed for drawing items out of alloys with high ultimate stress limit of nichrome type. The draw die has a drawing channel consisting of deformation, calibrating and output zones.
EFFECT: favourable distribution of stresses in body of draw die sharply reducing probability of its destruction facilitated by ratio of length of output zone of drawing channel to total length of channel 0,24-0,32.
