FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: drawing die has a drawing channel, which consists of inlet, working, calibrating and outlet zones. Favourable conditions of lubricant feed into deformation zone without violation of drawing process stability, more than triple reduction of normal tension level on contact surface is provided by the fact that inlet and outlet zones are combined into a single working zone, working zone is arranged at the angle of inclination to axis of channel α, tangent of which is calculated by formula tgα=(Δh/2)/(0.6…0.7)ℓwz, where Δh is absolute compression; ℓwz is length of working zone, and values tgα are in interval of 0.05-0.1. In areas of transition from working zone to calibrating zone and from calibrating zone to outlet zone, a channel has faces with length of 0.075-0.15 of calibrating zone length.
EFFECT: improved conditions of lubricant feed into channel of drawing die, higher resistance of dies by change of channel wear, elimination of breakage and improved quality of surface of strips from nichrome and similar low plastic hardly-deformed alloys.
