METHOD OF PREPARING POLYMER/CARBON NANOTUBES COMPOSITE ON SUBSTRATE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC C07C1/00 B82B1/00

Abstract RU 2400462 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: polymer/carbon nanotubes nanocomposites can be used in designing stronger building materials and membrane elements of micro-system equipment owing to higher mechanical strength of the material when nanotubes are used. The method of preparing a polymer/carbon nanotubes composite on a substrate involves dissolving a polymer in a first solvent at 90°C, ultrasound treatment of carbon nanotubes (CNT) in a second solvent, mixing the dissolved polymer with a solution of carbon nanotubes and ultrasound treatment of the obtained solution in the presence of an alternating magnetic field for a period of time sufficient for distributing carbon nanotubes in the entire matrix of the polymer, and then depositing the composite onto a substrate and thermal treatment, carried out in the presence of a constant magnetic field.

EFFECT: higher resistance to radiation exposure, higher mechanical strength, electroconductivity.
