FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: mixture of petroleum oil - straw oil AU and aviation selective treatment oil MS-20, thickened with lithium soap of 12- hydroxy-stearic acid, is mixed with a phenyl-2-naphthylamine additive, and then a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate additive and a nitrated oil based additive. The grease contains the following in wt %: straw oil AU 34.5-38.5; aviation selective treatment oil MS-20 41.5-45.5; 12- hydroxy-stearic acid 10-14; technical lithium hydroxide 1.6-2.3; phenyl-2-naphthylamine 0.8-1.1; zinc dialkyldithiophosphate 3.7-4.3; nitrated oil based additive 0.9-1.1. The preferred zinc dialkyldithiophosphate is an additive A-22 and the nitrated oil based additive used is AKOR-1 additive.

EFFECT: increased reliability and service life of heavily loaded friction assemblies of railway vehicles.
