SUBSTANCE: diverter includes in-series connected drive, transfer mechanism and diverting assembly; at that, drive is electrical; transfer mechanism is made in the form of ball screw gear; diverting assembly includes turning shaft, housing-switch with chambers, which is installed on turning shaft with possibility of back-and-forth movement; ball cages with balls, which are put on the turning shaft and installed with a gap in chambers of housing-switch; on side surface of the turning shaft, on one of its ends there are spiral grooves and on the other one - longitudinal; at that, one of ball cages is interconnected with spiral grooves, and the other - with longitudinal.
EFFECT: improving reliability, decreasing overall dimensions, reducing power consumption during operation of diverter.
