FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: screw reduction gear has housing inside which the following components are located coaxially; driven shaft in form of hollow cylinder, drive shaft with motion screw located coaxially relative to driven shaft and sliding nut engageable with motion screw by means of ball-and-screw mechanism. Sliding nut is movably connected with housing through multiple-thread ball guide mechanism with guides parallel to longitudinal axis of sliding nut and with driven shaft 2 through multiple-thread ball-and-screw mechanism. These mechanisms are provided with cages for receiving balls. Drive shaft is provided with additional sliding nut connected with cage by means of flexible member. Screw reduction gear is provided with other additional sliding nut fitted on drive shaft and connected with cage of ball guide mechanism, case of ball-and-screw mechanism for placing the balls which is mounted on motion screw and travel limiters of above-mentioned case made in form of bushes secured st ends of additional sliding nuts for their mutual longitudinal motion on drive shaft. Cages and travel limiters are provided with springs. EFFECT: extended operational capabilities, increased bearing capacity and facilitated procedure of manufacture of motion screw of drive shaft. 6 dwg
