SUBSTANCE: cover plate is intended for connection of two sections of cable run from wire threads. Each section comprises longitudinal warp threads and transverse weft threads. Cover plate comprises extended bottom (2), side shelf called upper shelf (4) and arranged substantially perpendicularly to bottom (2) starting from the first longitudinal edge of this bottom, and also side shelf called lower shelf (6) and arranged substantially perpendicularly to bottom (2), starting from longitudinal edge opposite to the first longitudinal edge. Each of two shelves (4, 6) comprises cut (8, 14) outgoing into free edge of according shelf (4, 6), at the same time both cuts (8, 14) are located opposite to each other. Upper side shelf (4) comprises engagement facilities (12) at both sides of its cut (8) intended for interaction with warp thread (26) on section (20) of cable run.
EFFECT: provides for rigid connection of cable sections with single warp thread in side panel.
