SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automotive industry. Guide element for brake pad, installed by its lugs into support legs slots, has base, made U-shaped in lateral cross section and having inner radial surface, bottom and outer radial surface for installation into support leg slot. From inner side to guide element base inner bearing surface is adjoining, introduced into engagement with support leg inner front surface, and from outer side is outer support surface, introduced into engagement with projection inner front surface, whereon guide element is fixed. External support surface bends and passes into front support surface. Guide element base has stopping tab, extending from it outwards for engagement in slot.
EFFECT: enabling reduced noise and easier movement of brake pad.
