FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: linear induction accelerator comprises induction system and three magnet pulse generators. Induction system consists of ferromagnetic cores with magnetisation turns, outputs of which are connected to each other at each side of cores. Magnetic pulse generators have at least two compression links. Compression links are formed by saturation throttle and capacitor. Identical terminals of the last compression links of all magnetic pulse generators are connected to each other. One of common terminals is connected electrically to one of outputs from magnetisation turns. Accelerator comprises additional inductance, which is connected to the second common output of the last compression links in magnetic pulse generators and to second terminal of magnetisation turns in induction system. Additional capacitor is connected parallel to magnetisation turns of induction system.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce losses of energy in induction system by smoothing of pulsations at the top of output pulse of microsecond duration.
