FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: suspension device, in particular umbrella or canopy, comprises rod, shed from flexible material, working facility, which may move along rod to fold and unfold shed, and shed tightening facility. The latter comprises a set of tightening elements. The first and second tightening elements are arranged parallel at some distance from their mutual connection, defining contact surface, which when loaded increases since the first and second tightening elements form increased contact surface, while load is absorbed. Tightening elements have substantially lower flexural rigidity in the first direction, compared to the second direction. The second direction is transverse relative to the first direction, and when loaded tightening elements bend in the first direction, thus increasing contact surface. One more version of suspension device is provided.
EFFECT: increased resistance to rushes of wind.
