FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: evacuated cardiotomy reservoir filter comprises a truncated cone shaped external case with a rounded bottom, and an internal bag shaped like the external case. The case is made of a single cloth of a longitudinally jointed nonwoven poorly extensible filter net. A neck of the case has a turndown to form a double layer wherein a coupling element for mounting of the filter in a cardiotomy reservoir is located. The internal bag is made of a longitudinally jointed flexible nonwoven porous filter medium and fixed in the external case so that its external surface contacts to the internal surface of the external case, and an upper edge of the internal bag is connected to the external case by a transverse girth joint.

EFFECT: greater amount of treated blood due to ensured maximum capacity of the internal filter space and maximum resource exploitation the porous filtering medium.
