PHYSIOLOGICAL AUTOHEMOTRANSFUSION UNIT WITH TWO PERISTALTIC PUMPS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61M1/38

Abstract RU 2407554 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, particularly to systems for blood sampling and purification to be redelivered to a body of the operated patient. A physiological autohemotransfusion unit with two peristaltic pump contains an evacuated cardiotomy reservoir, a replaceable container for blood separation in an autohemotransfusion apparatus, an erythrocyte storage capacitor used to collect and store erythrocytes to be delivered to the patient during the operation, a wound blood suction pipeline connected to an input of the evacuated cardiotomy reservoir, a filtered blood storage capacitor used to collect and store the filtered blood to be delivered to the patient during the operation, five manual plugs, as well as six junction lines. The first line connects the evacuated cardiotomy reservoir to the replaceable container for blood separation in the autohemotransfusion apparatus, with the integrated first elastic insert which is a flow element for the first peristaltic pump. The second pipeline connects the erythrocyte storage capacitor to the specified first line in front of the specified first elastic insert. The third line for erythrocyte redelivery to the patient is connected to the erythrocyte storage capacitor and supplied with the second elastic insert which is a flow element for the second peristaltic pump. The fourth line for anticoagulant supply is connected to the wound blood suction pipeline. The fifth line for irrigating solution supply is connected to the specified first line in front of the specified first elastic insert. The evacuated cardiotomy reservoir is supplied with an in-built wound blood filter. The sixth line connects the filtered blood storage capacitor to the first line between the specified first elastic insert and the replaceable container for blood separation in the autohemotransfusion apparatus. The first plug is mounted on the first line between the cardiotomy reservoir and the specified first elastic insert. The second plug is arranged on the second line. The third plug is arranged on the fifth line. The fourth plug is provided on the first line in front of the replaceable container for blood separation in the autohemotransfusion apparatus. The fifth plug is arranged on the sixth line.

EFFECT: reduced intraoperative donor blood consumption, optimum work load of the use autohemotransfusion apparatus depending on the operative conditions and ensured possibility of simultaneous filtered blood and separated erythrocyte redelivery to the patient.
