FIELD: rescue service, in particular, protective clothing used as compact individual means for protecting individual's head in fire from thermal action and toxic substances.
SUBSTANCE: protective veil is made in the form of bag manufactured from air-impermeable thermally stable at least partly transparent film. Protective veil has sorption-filtering member made from fibrous material and including at least one layer of anti-aerosol material, and base connected in hermetically sealing relationship with said film. Base is made in the form of cover with at least one opening. Container filled with sorbent is placed within bag cavity under cover. Sorption-filtering member is equipped with former allowing said member to be placed in its operating position.
EFFECT: compact and simplified construction, increased extent of protection and simplified usage.
