FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention aims at expanding performances of universal automatic tuning of network devices (UPnP) in medium with limited power to establish communication between two terminals with UPnP possibilities when one of the terminals is in standby mode. Invention can be used in mobile terminals, wireless devices, portable devices, mobile communication devices, mobile phones etc. It covers mechanism that allows UPnP application to dynamically instruct TCP/IP stack to tune its parametres so that delays and time-outs of larger duration are possible in UPnP medium with lower power.
