FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: foam generator for sublayer fire extinguishing in reservoirs with highly inflammable liquids contains cylindrical body with mixing chamber, made with flanges on butt ends, in one of which placed is nozzle for supply of foam-former water solution, and in lateral body surface openings for air supply are made. Nozzle is made from conical shell, directed with cone apex to side, opposite to flange for supply of foam former water solution, inside of nozzle placed is ejector, made in form of conical shell with fairing, forming with conical shell conical cavity and having form of surface of rotation of the second order, for instance ball, ellipsoid. Conical shells of nozzle and ejector are coaxial and between them there is a gap of ring type with variable section. Conical surfaces of nozzle and ejector have equal angles at apexes of cone, which forms them, and ejector being fastened to nozzle with at least three ejection tubes, one end of which is located in plane, and the other - in cavity of conical body. To conical shell of ejector coaxially fastened is cylindrical horizontal air-conductor, near whose section placed are at least three radial air-conductors, located in plane, perpendicular to body axis and fastened with one end to body, their axes are located radially and evenly in said plane, free end of radial air-conductors being located near horizontal air-conductor section.
EFFECT: increase of foam generator efficiency.
